I feel like I have had a heavy heart lately. I have been dealing with a few things that have warn me out emotionally and overwhelmed me mentally.
I am so thankful that I know that the strength I need comes from Christ alone. His arms are a fortress for the weak. He gives rest to the weary and hope to the hopeless.
Without Him I am Nothing.
With Him I find Peace and Comfort.

ReplyDeleteI am learning more and more that the joy of the Lord can be our strength, and that strength needs to come from God and resting in Him.
I have had a heavy heart as well, and I have decided I need to pull away from some things until I can come back to them with a clear heart. I may have to write you an e-mail this weekend when I have some time to give details and see if you have any advice.
I will be praying for your heart. With Him, you are a beautiful creation created for BIG purposes and BIG adventures. He will lead you if you will follow.
We all deal with "heaviness" from time to time. You recognize it is Him you need to turn to, and that is the main thing. After the heaviness, we can look back and set up a memorial, and go on rejoicing. I'm thinking heaviness can be a good thing...
